

Bob lived a life marked by devotion to family, friendships, and the many people who were fortunate enough to know him. He served in the US Army during Vietnam as a Microwave Radio Operator, graduated from Iowa State as Mechanical Engineer, and worked at EMA, Inc. for 25 years, dedicating his life to clean water and a healthy environment.
Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed travel, cycling, photography, and many outdoor activities.
Bob is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cheek-Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Kay Manross (née Stetzel).
Bob is also survived by his son, Michael Manross (Tabitha); stepson, Ray Jones (Brandi); two grandchildren, Callie and Caffrey; and his sisters, Joan Elaine Manross (Bob) and Constance Lee Richards (Mary); sisters-in-law, Linda Cheek-Hall (John), and Mary Elaine Chernoff (Joann). Bob has many wonderful nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews who reside in Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Darlene Manross, and sister, Debbie Plagge.

Bob's legacy will live on through his charitable contributions, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date. Neptune Society has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
