Henry Leonard Richardson Jr.

With deep love we announce the passing of Henry “Hank” Leonard Richardson Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away on October 4, 2026. Hank was born in Newark, New Jersey, and lived in Newark, Ohio, Chicago, Los Angeles, North Carolina, Florida and Indiana.

Hank was a graduate of Northwestern University, where he met Gail Kuhn. Hank and Gail were married for forty-nine years, until her passing in 2009. Together, they raised three children: Tracy, Mark, and Robert. Hank spent his final sixteen years with his beloved companion, Joan Morris.

Hank had a passion for travel, painting, bridge, and acting. He was a talented craftsman. He also loved books and puzzles. Hank will be remembered for his intelligence, kind nature, and dependability. His memory will live on through the love he shared so freely with his three children and four grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 10, 2026. Neptune Society has been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
