Billie Raynona Schneider

Born in Ellettsville, Indiana, on February 9, 1934, she was a successful hairstylist who ran her own salon. Billie loved to travel, cook, play games, and spend time with her family and friends. She especially cherished time with her grandchildren, coaching them in swimming and tennis, teaching them Skip-Bo, and cooking their favorite things.

Billie loved to read and had a deep appreciation for westerns and horse culture. She enjoyed the finer things in life and especially loved sharing those joys with others—whether through fashion, dessert, or simple moments spent together. Known for her beautiful smile, which she wore often, Billie brought warmth, style, and joy to those around her and always lived life to the fullest.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Spencer, Steve Miller (Carla), and Liz Williams (Gail Summers); her sister, Amy Rehmel; and her 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Elmo Taylor; her sister, Carolyn Myers; and her husband, Melvin Schneider.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday August 1, 2026, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Stinesville Community Center, 7973 West Main Street, Stinesville, IN 47464.
