Richard Harrington

Richard “Dick” Harrington of Maynard, Massachusetts passed away on October 31st 2026 at the age of eighty-six. He was born on July 15th 1940 in East Boston and spent his younger days causing trouble in Orient Heights.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having the privilege of serving as an Electronics Technician Radar Third Class (ETR3) aboard the USS Little Rock from 1962 to 1964.

Richard worked as an electronics salesman. Gregarious and hilarious, the only thing bigger than Richard’s personality was his heart. He was actively involved in shenanigans and was generous to a fault.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Kelly Morley, her husband Daniel, and his grandson Keaton, as well as his loving partner Patricia Alloway, and her children Brian and Leah, his dear brother Peter and wife Marsha, his cherished nieces and nephews, his sons Todd, Greg, Keith and their families.

He is preceded in death by his brother Thaddeus Harrington.

Father figure to many and friend to all, Dick was always ready to share a story and a joke.
