Peter Louis Dionne

It is with great sadness, yet cherished memories of love and laughter.

Peter is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years Ann (Costello) Dionne, his son David and wife Cynthia. He is preceded by his late son John.

He also leaves his sister Norine Robbins of Hyannis, many nieces & nephews. Preceded by his brother Edward Dionne and sister Sally Hunt.

Peter was born January 18,1941in Hyde Park, grew up in East Boston & Dorchester where he married and lived until moving to Readville.

Peter always enjoyed family parties that included singing old songs, telling stories and laughing with everyone there. He loved playing golf with his son David, other relatives and close friends. He was always a passionate Boston sports fan. He enjoyed spending his family vacations up in Meredith NH.

He was a long-time member of John P. McKeon Post. AFSCME Retirees 93 local 293. He retired 24 years from City of Boston, Parks Dept. Later in life, he battled through 25 years of prostrate cancer. He was loved by his family and friends.

Arrangements: A funeral mass will be held on Friday March 7, at 11am @ Saint Anne Parish. 90 W. Milton St. Readville, MA. Following the mass will be a Celebration of Life at The Chateau in Norwood from 1-4pm.
