Paul Foster Gammell Sr. of Norwell passed away at home, surrounded by his family, November 6, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Opal Gammell of South Weymouth. Born in Nova Scotia and raised in South Weymouth; Paul was drafted from high school to play baseball for the Kansas City A’s where he played for many years before marrying his wife Jeanne; they were married for 62 years. Paul and Jeanne loved to explore and travel; especially their annual trips to Bermuda and other islands. He was most content at their Cape house of 25 years, in Pocasset, when his whole family and his grandkids were there. He was an avid gardener and shared his love of animals and nature with his family.
