Leslie Carey

Born on July 31, 1958, Leslie was the only child of Joseph Patrick Carr and Beverly Claire (MacDonald) Carr. Leslie grew up in Sharon and raised her family in Foxboro before retiring to Plymouth in 2019.

Leslie was a Registered Nurse, having worked at Boston City Hospital, nursing homes throughout the area, and Wrentham Developmental Center. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and always advocating for her patients.

Leslie will always be remembered for her good nature and truly beautiful spirit. She loved spending time down the Cape, tending to her flower gardens, and reading a good book. Leslie also loved all animals, particularly her pet chickens and beloved dogs Buster and Heidi.

Leslie leaves behind her devoted husband John J. Carey Jr. of Plymouth; her loving daughters Leanne Carey of Taunton and Heather Carey of Taunton; her granddaughter Brooklyn Barlatier of Taunton; her stepdaughter Shannon (Carey) Falzone, her husband Joseph, and their children Nathaniel and Ariana of Rock Hill, SC; her stepson Brian Carey of Ipswich; and her close cousin Randi Simons of Sharon.

Private services are to be held at a later date.
