Jeffrey M Carr

Jeffrey Michael Carr, aged 53, passed away on May 1, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of bravery, passion and kindness. A dedicated member of the Army Reserves, Jeffrey honorably served our country through five overseas tours as a Combat Medic, embodying the spirit of service and sacrifice. Throughout his extensive career MSG Carr was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, five Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, the Army Good Conduct Medal, three Army Reserve Component Achievement Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on terrorism Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Iraq Campaign Medal with 2 Campaign Stars, the Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, four Overseas Service Ribbons, two Armed Forces Reserve Medal with Mobilization Device, the NATO Medal, and the Combat Action Badge.

Outside of his military commitments, Jeffrey found joy in the open road, especially on his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle. His passion for riding was matched only by his love for hockey, where he was a fervent fan and active participant, bringing the same energy and enthusiasm to the rink, as he did to his life. Jeffery was a man deeply cherished by his family, friends, and community. His warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty made him a friend to many and a beacon of strength and positivity.

He will be deeply missed by those who had the honor of knowing him. Jeffrey leaves behind a son Christopher Erich Carr and daughter Indy Estelle Carr, as well as a host of family, friends and comrades who will forever cherish his memory.

A memorial service will be held on June 28 at 1pm at the Winchendon Veterans Cemetery to celebrate his life and legacy followed by refreshments at the Franco American Club, 300 Water Street, Leominster, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clear Path for Veterans New England. Rest in peace, Jeff. Your spirit and love will continue to inspire us all.
