Jack Bertram Folk

Jack Bertram Folk, age 91, of Westport , MA passed away on Thursday April 25, 2019. Jack was born December 3, 1927 in Akron, Ohio. He was the widow of Bernice “Bonnie” Folk, they were married for 64 years. He was the father of the late Jack Bruce Folk. He had three grandchildren, the late Timothy Jay Bettencourt, Tammy Jill Oliveira and Bo Jack Folk. He also had three great grandchildren Jason Jay Bettencourt, Joel Justis Avila and Casey Paige Oliveira.

Jack moved from Akron, Ohio when he was a child to Fall River, MA. When he was in his teens and twenties he played the saxophone in big bands in New York and local MA clubs. He played in the late Glen Miller Band. Him and his wife met while in show business. His wife Bonnie was a Rockette.

He also worked at Acushnet Company for many years as a VP of shipping after retiring he moved to Martha’s Vineyard were he and his wife owned a restaurant. He then moved to Palm Beach, FL were he owned several businesses such as a laundromat, commercial real estate & accounting.

Jack had a great sense of humor and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed!
