Ken was born to Harold and Minnie Farr in Sioux City, IA on June 25, 1945. He proudly served in the U.S. Army until retiring as a Staff Sergeant. During his time in the Army, he completed two tours in Vietnam, received two bronze star awards, and two Army commendations.
Ken had three sons and one daughter - David Farr (deceased), Timothy (Kimberlee) Farr of Harlem, GA, Andrew (Laura) Farr of Boston, MA, and Margaret (Jay) Grasso of Chapel Hill, NC.
Ken was very charitable to his community and would often volunteer time and resources at Rosie’s Place, Pine Street Inn, The Roslindale Library, and the Hyde Park Library.
Services in Ken's honor will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave
Buzzards Bay, MA 02542. Tuesday May 23, 2023 at 10:15AM.
