George grew up in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, graduating from Elmwood Park High School. He joined the Army Reserve in October 1968 and transferred to the Marine Corps in February 1969. One of his passions was art.
He was a member of the Eastham Painters Guild in 2004. George applied his understanding of structural and natural interactions to the paintings, photographs, and sketches. He studied under Doris DeCarlo and Salvadore Del Deo. He received the title of 3D Kinetic Art for his acoustic hardwood music boxes. Corporate patrons included New York Life Insurance Co, which commissioned him for managerial gifts in 1990.
When he was deep in thought, he wrote Poetry and Prose that are emotional and funny depictions of our times.
George is survived by his wife, Katherine Krouch.
