Frances Marie Gill

Fran was the beloved wife of Jack Gill, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, adventures and partnership. Together, they built a family rooted in care, resilience, and deep connection.

She was a devoted mother to Debra Wightman and her husband Paul, Joseph Gill and his wife Anne, and her late son, John Gill, Jr.

She was a proud grandmother (Nana) to Joseph Gill Jr. and his wife Casey, Andy Hyland, Christine Gill and her partner David Casey, Sheila Kelleher and her husband Joseph, Erin Johnson and her husband Brett, and Kate Dormainville and her husband Marvin. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Julie Hyland, whom she always held close in her heart. Her grandchildren were a constant source of joy and pride, and she loved each of them deeply.

She is also survived by her cherished great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Kayla Natale, Gavin and Violet Gill, Chloe Kelleher, Nora Johnson, and Miles Dormainville, each of whom brought her immense happiness and love.

Fran found her greatest happiness in time spent with family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and togetherness that will continue to live on through her family.

Funeral Mass and Prayer Service to celebrate Frances’s life will be held at a later date.
