Eila M. Peltola

Eila was an accomplished fine artist featuring watercolors & oils. Eila also taught elementary education. Eila is preceded by her parents Julius & Olga Peltola who were born in Finland. In addition to her parents, Eila was preceded in death by sisters and brothers Ellen Kainu, Emily Peltola, Edwin and Ralph Peltola. Eila is survived by her beloved partner of 55 years, Lyla Waterman-Abacherli and her children and grandchildren. She’s survived by wonderful nieces, Judy Stringer, Carol Pierce, Lori Peltola, Cheryl Farrell, Melodie Carter, Debra Salmon and her nephew, Stephen Peltola and many great and grand nieces and nephews.

Eila will be greatly missed and forever remembered for her wit and her marvelous gift to create beautiful paintings and teach.
