Doris Ann Rowe

Doris Ann Rowe 91, passed away on October 21, 2026, at Lawrence General Hospital with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Medford, Massachusetts, and graduated from Medford High School. Doris was the only child of English immigrants Walter and Annie Hardy.

Doris shared 68 unforgettable years of marriage with Milton “Lee” Rowe. They met roller skating while his Navy ship was docked in Boston, and were inseparable ever since. They raised their 2 daughters in Reading MA before retiring to North Fort Myers FL. She and Lee enjoyed dancing, boating, taking long car rides, and socializing with friends.

Doris was friendly and vivacious and lived for gatherings with their large network of caring friends and family.

Doris is survived by her daughters Karen Rowe and Valerie Stanley (Mark), her granddaughter Danielle Trottier, and great grandson Vincent Hughes. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Janice Crabtree (Bruce) and Carol Nipper.

Doris will be remembered for her joie de vivre, and her dedication to others in need. She will be deeply missed and joyfully remembered by her family and friends.
