Diane Atspins

Diane (Mathon) Atspins, of Methuen MA, passed away on April 11, at home surrounded by her family, at the the age of 80 . She was born on February 2, 1944. in Lawrence MA where she grew up and graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in 1961. After graduation she attended Lawrence General School of Nursing and earned her nursing degree 1964.

For almost 60 years She worked as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgery, rehabilitation, and hospice. After retiring she kept her license active inorder to volunteer her time.

She was a faithful Christian believer, who regularly attended Marsh Corner Community Church in Methuen MA, where she was involved in small groups and volunteered in different ministries around the church

She is survived by her husband, John Atspins, of Methuen MA, Two daughters, Rhonda Adams and her husband Joel of Holden MA, Linda Noble and her husband Tom of Windham NH, a granddaughter, Alexandra Adams, 2 grandsons, Benjamin and Chase Noble, 3 nieces Renee Dube and husband Ronald, Denise Foucher and her husband Michael, Dothory Gee and her Husband Lonie, 2 Nephews, Andre Gaumont and Christopher Barlett and his wife Joanne and several other great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Tufts Medicine Hospice, especially, her nurse Eileen for the care and compassion she showed our mother/wife in her final days and all the outpouring of love from family and friends who came out to celebrate the life of our mother/wife while she was still able to celebrate with us.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Marsh Corner Community Church, 317 Pelham St Methuen, MA on Tuesday May 21, 2024. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am and the Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am followed by a luncheon at the church.
