David Paul Bernier Jr., born April 25, 1972, in Middleboro, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Originally from Middleboro and most recently living in New Bedford, David lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and unforgettable moments.
David was the beloved son of Donna Forest (Demers) and David Bernier; loving brother to Christine Bernier and Paul Bernier; and devoted father to his daughter, Raven Rogers (Bernier). He was also a proud father-in-law to Ryan Rogers, whom he loved dearly.
David worked at Stiles and Hart Brick Company, where his hardworking nature and easygoing personality left a lasting impression on those around him.
He found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. David loved building and collecting model cars, spending time fishing, wandering flea markets, listening to heavy metal music, collecting band shirts, watching horror movies, watching football, going out to eat, and attending car shows. He found the greatest happiness in the simple moments spent with his daughter.
More than anything, David will be remembered for his heart and his humor. He was always the goofiest one in the room, and everyone who knew him carries at least one silly memory that still makes them smile. David never had a mean bone in his body and always made sure the people around him were cared for and loved. His warmth, laughter, and gentle spirit touched countless lives and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday July 11, 2026 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Middleboro Elks, 24 High Street, Middleboro. His family asks that friends and loved ones continue to share stories, laughter, and memories in his honor — just as he would have wanted.
