Sharon Kay Pace

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sharon Kay Pace, who departed from this world on April 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Gerald Pace of 52 years. Mom enjoyed traveling, crocheting and popcorn eating moving nights. She was witty, kind, strong, and had a good sense of humor.

Daughter of Marion & Lulu Belle Hamilton, she was born in Leon, Iowa on December 19, 1941. She spent her life spreading joy and compassion wherever she went. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, and she instilled values of integrity, perseverance, and empathy in her children.

She is survived by daughter Melissa Kay Lowe (Richard Christian Lowe) of West Des Moines IA, granddaughter Bobbikae Lorean Bryant of Urbandale Iowa, son Gregory Gerald Pace (Amanda Pace) of Des Moines Iowa who will forever cherish her memory. Her legacy is reflected in the lives she touched, the unconditional love she gave, and the countless memories that will be treasured always.

Though she may no longer walk among us, her light will continue to shine brightly in our lives. We find solace in knowing that she is at peace and that her love remains with us forever.

Rest in peace, dear mother. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A brief service to celebrate her life will be held on May 2nd, 9:30 a.m. at Iowa Veterans Cemetery 34024 Veterans Memorial Dr. Adel, IA 50003
