Judy Marie Stammeyer

Judy was born in Monticello, IA on December 11, 1948, the daughter of Henry and Gertrude (Hinkil) Ahlrichs. She graduated from Monticello High School class of 1967. She spent most of her career at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, working in the health care field for 42 years.

She was a member of Grandview Lutheran Church, Amvets #2 Ladies Auxiliary, VFW 9662, Singles Again, and Seniors on the Move. She loved her pets. Judy enjoyed many trips and a good coupon.

Judy is survived by her 2 sisters-in-law, Linda Ahlrichs and Barb Ahlrichs, both of Monticello, many nephews and nieces and their children and other extended family and wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Stammeyer, brothers, Don and Bob Ahlrichs and her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Ankeny.
