There will not be a public visitation, and a private burial will be held.
Born in Delano, Minnesota to Leo and Addie Farnick. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling and branched out to many places including New York City(NY), St Louis (MO), Keokuk (IA), and St. Louis Park (MN). Upon retirement, Donna made the most out of giving back to the community in Urbandale (IA) as an active member of the St. Pius Parish and teaching religious education. She was an avid member of walking tour groups, exercise classes, and community theatre. She even achieved her goal of visiting each state of the United States.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, her former in-laws, George and Alice Weiss, her ex-husband, Robert Weiss, brothers Marvin, Harlan, Gordan, and Ron Farnick, and her brother-in-law Sonny Cook. Donna leaves behind her sisters: Dolly Cook, Carol Farnick, and Kathleen Farnick. Additionally, she leaves her daughter, Kathy Weiss, her son, Doug, her daughter-in-law, Ellen, and her two grandchildren Daniel Weiss Gordon and Hannah Taylor Weiss.
