Michael Ray Perry

Mike was born August 13, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas to Etwell and Kathleen Perry. When Mike was 10 years old he moved with his family to California.

Mike met his wife Susan in Downey, California and they were married for 37 years. They raised a blended family including Heath, now in heaven, (Amanda), Matthew (Brooke), Michelle, Scott (Ada), and Brent (Alicen).

Mike was blessed to be Grandpa to nine beautiful grandchildren: Noah, Emily, Abigail, Olivia, Joe, Liv, Jules, Alex, and Hannah.

Mike is also survived by his mother in law Martha Rinkle, his sister Janet, his brother James, several nephews and nieces and other relatives.

Mike was retired from working as a crew leader at Los Angeles County Public Works for 27 years.

He enjoyed traveling with Susan. He loved the ocean, writing and playing songs on his guitar and writing short stories.

Mike was also happy to serve as a greeter with Susan at their church, Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs. In spite of being in a wheelchair for 3 years, Mike showed the joy of the Lord to many people.

Mike's memorial service will be held on Saturday February 8th at 11 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Santa Fe Springs 12227 Florence Ave. Santa Fe Springs, CA

A luncheon fellowship will follow.
