With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, MaryHelen Martinez, on December 10, 2024. She leaves behind her three children, Helen, Michael, and Jessica, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two sisters, Rita and Pauline.
MaryHelen was born on September 19, 1955. Throughout her life, she was a guiding light in the Narcotics Anonymous program, dedicating countless hours to support and uplift those on their journey to recovery. Her compassion, strength, and unwavering support have left an indelible mark on our community.
MaryHelen was also a dedicated substance abuse counselor, offering guidance and support to those in need. Her work as a counselor touched many lives, providing hope and encouragement to countless individuals.
Beyond her work in the community, MaryHelen was the heart and soul of her family. Her love and devotion to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and sisters brought endless joy and comfort. She was always there with a warm hug, a listening ear, and wise words of encouragement. Her friends and family were blessed by her kindness, generosity, and the unconditional love she shared so freely.
MaryHelen's legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering support. She touched the lives of many, offering hope and guidance to those in need. Her dedication to helping others and her ability to bring people together will be remembered by all who knew her.

Maryhelen Martinez, age 69, of Pomona, California passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Maryhelen was born in Los Angeles.
