

She is survived by her son, Mike, and daughter in law, Denise Dimin. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and other special family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Logan, her daughter, Vicki (Max), her parents and her sisters and brothers in law, Arlene (Marvin) Egerdal and Lois (Bob) Fabian.
Elva attended country school for primary years and graduated from Cannon Falls high school. She did teletype training and worked for the railroad in Arizona for 2 years before returning to the St. Paul area to work. She and Logan married November 1949 and had two children, Mike and Vicki raising their family in north St Paul area. Her natural skill and abilities with numbers and booking keeping and her diligence and integrity served her and her employers well. Beginning in a department store office, and moving to American National Bank for over 25 years working her way up from a teller to commercial loan department. Skip moved to Thousand Oaks in 1984, she enjoyed attending and working at Ascension Lutheran church in the office and accounts.
Skip and Logan enjoyed RV camping with family and friends, traveling to 49 states. (she never got to Hawaii) One of her greatest joys was quilting! She made hundreds of quilts which have been distributed worldwide wide! Another joy was her dogs and the daily walking that involves with having dogs. She also enjoyed line dancing! The annual thanksgiving camp out was always highlight to each year. She was an avid reader.
Her faith and church family were very important to her.
She will be remembered for her kindness, fun quick wit, quilts and her good cooking and her delicious “Skip Cake!” - Chocolate cake w chocolate icing!
She will be dearly missed by her family and all those who loved her!!
