Warren Edward McAdams son of Marion M. and Lois McAdams is survived by his wife of 62 years Wilhelmina (Billie) McAdams, his daughter Wendy McAdams, son Wayne McAdams and wife Kelly, grandson Scott McAdams and great-grandson Pierce McDowell, nieces Cynthia and Dianne McAdams. He is proceeded in death by his brother Dennis McAdams and wife Jeanine McAdams, granddaughter Roxanne Deshotels.
Warren grew up around Columbus Ohio, he Graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Engineering with a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering in 1960. He went to Basic Training for the Army and was Infantry Unit Leader Feb 1961 - Feb 1963, then Army Reserve until October 1969 reaching the rank of Captain. He worked for Procter & Gamble for 36 years Jun 1960 - Oct 1996. With his love of boating and the water, he was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary for 42 years. Warren served the Auxiliary as Flotilla Commander of 0820503, Division Commander 0805 Cincinnati , Commodore District 8 Eastern, and as Vice National Commodore. He mentored countless Auxiliarists as a Qualifying Examiner, and was awarded the highest honor in the USCG Auxiliary the Life Saving medal. He was also a member of The Navy League and the Cincinnati Power Squadron.
After retiring from P&G Warren and Billie spent much of their time seeing the world, going on over 25 cruises visiting 6 of the 7 continents.
Warren suffered a major stroke on January 17th, he spent his final days in Hospice Care.
