Husband, son, brother, uncle, dog dad, fisherman, beach lover, avid Pittsburgh sports fan passed unexpectedly on October 14, 2023. Tibor was born in Troy, NY but he called Greensburg, PA home.
Married for 34 years, Tibor left behind his beloved wife Amy (Krizner) Csakvary and fur baby Magnolia. Tibor and Amy’s life journey featured vacations to many state and national parks, gem hunting in the mountains and visits to nearly every beach in Florida.
Tibor was surrounded in life by many loving family members, sister-in laws, brother-in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tibor always looked forward to spending time with an inseparable group of lifelong friends.Tibor was preceded in death by his parents Tibor and Helen Csakvary and brother Thomas Csakvary
Tibor had a lengthy career as a well-respected metallurgist in Greensburg, PA, Mobile, AL, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and West Chester, OH. Tibor and Amy were working towards retirement and a return to the beaches of Florida.
Tibor had a love of anything adventurous, cars, motorcycles, sky diving and fell in love with fishing the Everglades in Florida in search of the biggest tarpon.
Tibor will be remembered for his love of adventure, travel and strong dedication to his family and work.
A celebration of Tibor’s life will take place at a future date for close family and friends.
