
Richard graduated from Edward Lee McClain HS in 1965. He, also, attended Ohio University where he studied Engineering.
He worked as a truck driver, engineer, and numerous other jobs in his lifetime. But his favorite job was the DJ service he ran after retirement.
Richard was a member of the Washington CH congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Before becoming one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he made many changes in his lifestyle. Richard loved music, baseball, motorcycles, and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Renee Williamson, his wife Dena (Neitz) Williamson and brother Tom Williamson.
He is survived by his ex-wife Janet Pinkerton, his children including Christopher (Amber) Williamson, California, and Angela Williamson (Columbus), many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He and Dena raised grandchildren Dominique Williamson, Jeffersonville, Cheyenne (George) Markou, Indiana, and Meleike Simmons, Washington CH. He is also survived by one brother, Bernard (Carolyn)Williamson, Greenfield, and sisters, Genevieve McDavid, Florida, Mary Ann (Don)Gilliam, Greenfield, Michele (Roger) Leeth, Leesburg, numerous nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 12374 Lover’s Lane, Greenfield on Saturday, July 19 at 3pm. David Fox will officiate. The family will be available beginning at 2:30 pm for friends who cannot attend the service but would like to stop by.
According to Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
