Gail deeply loved her husband of 62 years, Harold John Nordeman, her five daughters, and five grandchildren. She lived her life guided by her unwavering Catholic faith and her passion for helping people. Gail enjoyed spending free time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, watching game shows, playing solitaire, and creating art.
Gail was born October 23, 1936 in Cincinnati to Delbert and Rita Glaser. She was the third of five children. Gail graduated from Saint Charles Borromeo, Ursuline Academy (on Oak Street) and Good Sam College of Nursing. She was a practicing RN and, after completing a four-year degree at Antioch University, started her own counseling business to continue her life’s work of helping others.
Gail is survived by her loving husband, Harold J. Nordeman; daughters, Linda (Cecelia Haasis-Nordeman) Nordeman, Donna (Paul) Boehm, Vivian (Ed) Shaw, Barbara (Jeff Williams) Nordeman, and Joyce Rivers; five grandchildren, Tyler Shaw, Andrew Shaw, Justin Nordeman, Michael Nordeman, and Kasey Rivers; brother, Robert (Kay) Glaser; sisters, Sister Mary Delrita Glaser, SND and Nancy (Richard) Mueller; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gail was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janet Fitzgerald.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd. with visitation at 9:30am and Mass at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
