It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Collins (Wilson Rigali) of Walnut Creek, California, on July 11, 2025. A beloved daughter, wife, sister, mother, friend, and NANNA. Pat was born on November 5, 1940, in Arlington, Massachusetts, and moved to California in 1966.
She enjoyed family time, tennis, traveling, church (WC Presbyterian and later St. Matthew’s), along with countless volunteer roles, until dementia prevented her from continuing. Her personality never wavered—she continued to sparkle and smile every day!
Family was the cornerstone of her existence. She was predeceased by her mother, “Tootie” Wills; brother, Taylor Wilson; and husband, Ted Collins. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Rigali and Denise Getty (Paul); her sons, Don Collins (Margaret), Kevin Collins, and Clint Collins (Ann); and her grandchildren: Joshua Rigali, Ashley Rigali, Nevada Huie, Marissa Huie, Nyssa Monahan, Joe Getty (Nicole), Esther Sanderlin (Robert), Chad Collins and eight great-grandchildren.
Pat is recognized for her unwavering kindness, strength, and the profound impact she made on everyone she encountered. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, and the memories lovingly held by family and friends.
A casual gathering is scheduled for August 9, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Postino, located at 3565 Mount Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette. Friends and family are welcome to attend and share memories in celebration of a life well-lived. Nothing fancy—just bring your smile, and any good memories you’ve got.
