Jerry and Barbara moved to San Jose, California, in 1954. He furthered his education, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University in June 1958. He went on to have a distinguished career as an engineer at Lockheed, where his dedication and intellect left a lasting impact until his retirement in September 1992. Retirement led him to the water and Disco Bay.
Outside of his professional life, Jerry was a passionate aviator who took great joy in taking to the skies and flying his Piper Archer II.
He also loved to travel and had been all over the world.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy and Kenneth Bridges, and his sister, Rosemary Deferbrache.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Christina Clark and Rebecca Bridges, three cherished grandsons, Jason Clark, Trevor Clark, and Mathew Clark, and precious great-granddaughter Phoebe Clark. He will be sorely missed, but his legacy of hard work, love, and devotion to his family will live on in their hearts forever. Services will be held on July 8th aboard ship in San Francisco Bay and his ashes scattered at sea with immediate family in attendance.
