Chris Arnold Shurtleff of El Sobrante, California passed away in his home on July 9, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Wende Ann Shurtleff, children Erik Shurtleff Sr. and Rebecca Shurtleff, grandson, Erik Shurtleff Jr. and granddaughter, Adrianna Morales, siblings, Ellen Shurtleff, Michael Shurtleff and Robin Walden, step sister, Leslie Harris and step brother, Brian Harris. He is also a beloved uncle.
Chris graduated from Ygnacio Valley High School in 1973 and went on to attend the CHP Academy. He worked for the CHP as a Motor Carrier Specialist. His many interests included golf, bowling, and building anything; he could master it all. He was very loved by his friends and family and left this world a better place.
It was his request to be scattered at Mt. Diablo privately by his family.
