Suzanne Seville, born October 14, 1942, to Herbert and Florella Seville, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, just ten days shy of her 84th birthday. She lived a life filled with curiosity, music, adventure, family, and enthusiasm for learning.
A proud graduate of Nether Providence High School and Bucknell University with multiple masters degrees, Suzanne went on to spend many years doing what she did best: teaching. She taught mathematics and computer science and was the advisor of many clubs at Conestoga High School, where she undoubtedly convinced generations of students that numbers and computers could be interesting. Her love of learning—and her willingness to share it—was one of the many gifts she gave to others.
Suzanne was also very musically inclined. She enjoyed skiing and summer vacations at Bethany Beach. She loved to travel and was always ready for an adventure, especially when it involved friends and family. Whether exploring somewhere new, tending to her garden, or simply enjoying the company of people she loved, Suzanne approached life with curiosity and enthusiasm.
Eventually, Suzanne retired to Tucson, Arizona, where she traded classrooms for cactus, sunshine, and a whole new set of adventures. She especially enjoyed gardening and volunteering at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, and telling Don where to place everything in their desert landscapes. It was a fitting pastime for someone who spent her life helping things grow. She was always up for a game of bridge or scrabble and kept her mind sharp with sudoku and crossword puzzles. She could often be found engrossed in the sporting event of the day and especially looked forward to U of A versus UConn basketball matchups.
Suzanne is survived by: her son Michael and Audra Juenger and their children Madelynne, Chase, Amelia, Jake, Faith and Emma Kate; her daughter Lara Juenger, and her sons Calvin and Jack; her daughter Lindsay and Adam Hendrickson and their sons Blake, and Mason; her loving companion, Don Benzel; and her sister, Sydney and Penn Laird.
May she rest peacefully, with good music playing, a beautiful garden nearby, and margaritas and a McDonald’s vanilla milkshake.
The family will honor Suzanne’s life with a private gathering. There will be no public service.
