Richard Tipton, retired Navy Lieutenant and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at the age of 77. A proud veteran, Richard served 22 years in the U.S. Navy, dedicating his life to his country with honor and distinction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Carl Tipton, and his beloved son, Bryan Tipton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Theresa; his children, Paula Tipton and her partner, John; Gary Tipton and his partner, Judi; and Brad Tipton and his wife, Cory; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Richard will be remembered for his integrity, strength, and unwavering love for his family.
