Randee Noella Batchelder

Randee Batchelder (Hitchcock) of Chesapeake, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 70 on April 2, 2024. Randee was born on April 16, 1953 and grew up in Fort Fairfield, then Hampden, Maine.

Randee was a devoted wife to Vaughn Batchelder and a loving cat parent to Princess and Mr. Gibbs. She cherished spending time with her family and loved when her grandkids would stop in for a visit.

Randee had a passion for sewing and crafting and loved going to craft shows. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she delighted in decorating every available surface with Santas and snowmen, spreading holiday cheer to all who entered her home. Randee loved all cats, but had a deep love for black cats.

Randee leaves behind her husband Vaughn, her daughter Cheryl Batchelder, and her grandchildren Michael Vaughn Ivers and Casey Noel Ivers, and many special family members, friends and neighbors.

Randee was predeceased by her parents Milton and Virginia in 1970 and 1991 respectively, her son Robert Matthew Batchelder in 1978 and her sister Bonnie Harrell in 2010.

While her physical presence will be deeply missed, Randee's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A celebration of Randee's life will be held at her residence on Saturday, April 6th at 2:30 pm.
