Paul Theron Goodson

Paul T. Goodson, age 53, passed away peacefully Monday, December 5, 2022 in his sleep in Norfolk, Virginia. Paul was born August 9th, 1969. He is survived by his life partner, Kelly Connors, her children Andrew and Valerie; daughter, Kinsey Moore, and sisters, Donna Goodson and Paula Moore.

Paul was bubbly and full of life. He made friends wherever he went. He had a beautiful, warm soul that left an impact on everyone he met. He was fond of anything active. A health enthusiast, he enjoyed hiking, biking, going to the beach, and taking Kinsey skating.

He was a man of many talents and interests. He obtained his GED in Virginia Beach, attended Johnson and Wales Culinary College and the Fuller Massage School. He pursued careers as a chef, cooking for luminaries such as John Travolta, Jimmy Buffett and other celebrities. He worked as a massage therapist, and also several other small businesses such as pressure washing and laying epoxy flooring.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 – 4 pm Saturday, December 17th at the Deep Creek United Methodist Church social hall, 141 George Washington Highway North, Chesapeake. Dress is casual, and tie-dyed shirts are encouraged in his memory.
