Michele Therese Mikesell

As a mental health social worker, she spent many years providing care, guidance, and hope to individuals and families in need. Her compassion and commitment to supporting mental wellness left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Beyond her professional life, Michele, was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife to Lewis R. Mikesell of 58 years, a caring mother to Damian (Amy) Mikesell, Marcus R. Mikesell, and a cherished Ya-Ya to her grandson Lewis Alexander Mikesell. She is preceded in death by her son, Marcus.

She will be remembered for her kindness, empathy, and unwavering belief in the value of helping others.

Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched both personally and professionally.

Funeral Mass for Michele will be held Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at Saint John the Apostle Catholic Church, 1968 Sandbridge Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
