Joie Lynn Knauss

her family and loved ones. She leaves behind her two children, Morgan and Kaleb, and her

husband of twenty-three years, Kevin.

Although originally from Lansing, Michigan, Joie has called Virginia Beach home since 2012.

Known for her warmhearted and generous ways, Joie could strike a connection to almost any

soul she met. Whether it was cooking a meal, lending an ear, or offering a warm hug, Joie would

never hesitate to lend a helping hand to those in need. Similar to a lighthouse on a familiar

shore, she radiated a comforting light in this world that will certainly be missed.

Per Joie’s wishes, no formal memorial or funeral service will be held. A celebration of life

gathering will occur at the residence of a family friend on July 15th starting at 3 PM at 2020

Malbon Road, VB Beach, VA 23456. Those who wish can also donate to The Asher House

animal sanctuary or the Susan G. Koman Tidewater Chapter in Joie’s honor.

The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and continued support

during the time ahead.
