

Born in New York City, Janice was the oldest of six children. In 1950, her family moved to Danville, Virginia, where she was raised and graduated from Brosville High School. She later moved to Norfolk, where she met the love of her life, Tim LoBello, Sr., at the USO Club. They were married on June 25, 1960, and shared nearly 66 years of marriage filled with love, friendship, and devotion.
Janice is survived by her beloved husband, Tim LoBello, Sr.; her son, Tim LoBello, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Agnia LoBello, of Pinecrest, Florida; her grandsons, Sean LoBello, Luca Netz-LoBello, and Ian Franco LoBello; her sister, Diane Boone (Larry); and several cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Doris Cooper, and her siblings, David Cooper, Paul Cooper, Lindsay Cooper, and Linda (Lynn) Hutton
Janice dedicated many years of service to the City of Norfolk before retiring. She and Tim enjoyed traveling the world together and spending their winters in Florida while always returning to Chesapeake, the community they proudly called home.
A faithful member of Oaklette United Methodist Church, Janice drew strength and comfort from her faith throughout her life. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Ned Alderman, as well as the physicians, nurses, and caregivers at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center for their compassion and care.
A memorial service celebrating Janice's life will be held later.
Janice will be remembered for her kindness, grace, love of family, and adventurous spirit. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
