There will be no formal service. Dorinda requested a quiet goodbye, viewing death not as an ending, but as a sunset of one's earthly life. Rather than saying goodbye, she asked that prayers be offered in her memory.
Dorinda lived a life full of color, love, and joy. She had a gift for seeing beauty in the little things and expressed it so wonderfully through her paintings. Her art was a reflection of her heart – creative, kind, and full of life.
What mattered most to her was her family. She cherished every moment together – the stories, the traditions, the simple time around the table. Her laughter was contagious and could light up any room. She had a way of bringing joy to those around her and making everyone feel seen and loved.
Please honor her by spending time with the people you love. Share a meal, tell a story, laugh often, and make beautiful memories – just as she did. Live fully, love deeply, and carry her light with you always.
