Allen Eugene Reisinger

Originally from Iowa Falls, Iowa, Allen was a dedicated public servant, a loving family man, and an avid outdoorsman. He spent 23 proud years in the United States Navy as a decorated pilot, serving from 1971 to 1994 and retiring at the rank of Commander. His devotion to his country was matched only by his love for his family and his passion for life.

Beyond his distinguished military career, Allen found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether he was out on the golf course, hunting in the quiet outdoors, or spending quality time visiting with family and cherished friends.

Allen is survived by his loving wife, Carol Anne Reisinger; his daughters, Renée Le Moine and her husband Yann, and Sarah Yoder and her husband Matthew; his cherished grandchildren, Maïlys Le Moine, Nico Le Moine, Grace Yoder, and Graham Yoder; and his sisters, Linda Palmer and Cindy Burch. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Eugene and Eleanor Reisinger.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 21, 2026 at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia.
