Norma Lorraine Ritscher, 87, of Ft. Collins, CO, passed away peacefully at 9:33 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017, in Tucson, AZ. Memorial Services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at The Ridge Community Church in Broomfield, CO. Norma was born on June 6, 1929, in Washington, D.C., to Charles and Katherine Edna (Bauer) Storey. She met Donald M. Ritscher and they were married on October 11, 1952 in Virginia. They had three children, Stu, Greg and Vicki. They lived all over the world and United States, while in the Air Force. She worked as an escrow officer for several years in Colorado Springs. She enjoyed cross-stitching and crafts, crossword puzzles, sports, Bible study, reading, traveling and, most importantly, spending time with her seven grandchildren. Norman was a founding member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs and was active in the Lions Club. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine; her father, Charles; and her sister, Katherine. Norma is survived by her loving husband, Donald; three children, Stu (Patty) Ritscher, Greg (Phylis) Ritscher and Randy (Vicki) Gricius; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Norma’s family wishes to give their sincere thanks to Carondelet Hospice, the physicians and nurses at St. Joseph Hospital in Tucson, Chaplain Janis at hospice and Myrna and Patsy at Grandma’s Assisted Living in Tucson.
