Mary Lue Hughes

She was born in Scottdale, GA on October 19, 1938. She graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mary worked and retired from General Electric after 35 years of service.

She made a vow to serve Jehovah God and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in November 1970 still a loyal servant of Jehovah at her time of death.

Mary loved the Ministry, always saying I’m just a banana one of the bunch.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Corelli (DeArthur) Williams, son Curwin D. “Buster” (Renee Wimes Partner) Hughes, 9 grandchildren-Anthony (Velesther ) Eley, Cordell, Shawntrell, Daqwanna, Jessica, Ashley, Quinzena, Tempia. 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and one on the way and other family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Odell and Mamie L Hudson, sister Addie B Avery, husband Douglas S. Hughes, son Cameron Hughes, daughter Carmen A. Hughes, granddaughter Curwanna Hughes, 2 great great grandchildren Davion Hughes, Genesis Hughes.
