Marvin Lewis Wright

Marvin Lewis Wright was born on December 26, 1945, in Milledgeville, Georgia, Marvin enlisted as a Marine in 1963. He bravely served two tours in the Vietnam War, in 1966 and 1970. Marvin passed away on Sunday, February 23, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 79.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Iris, his parents, Louis and Willa Mae Wright, his brother David L. Wright, and his sister Anita Wright.

Marvin is survived by sisters Barbara Wright-Gore of Chester, VA, Joe Ann Wright of Fayetteville, NC, Vera Mitchell of North Chesterfield, VA, Lisa Woodard of North Chesterfield, VA, brothers, Donald Wright of Paterson, NJ, and Eric Wright (Doresha) of Fayetteville, NC,

Sister-in-law Juanita (Jeanny) Calcano of Orlando, FL, niece Rosa Graham of Orlando, FL, close family friends Pat Andreas of Tucson, AZ, Beth Rojas and Bianca Rojas of Mesa, AZ along with 12 nieces and nephews. His legacy of service and the love he shared with his family will always be remembered.
