Lorraine Ann Shapiro

Lorraine Ann (Miller) Shapiro of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16 at the age of 84 years. Lorraine was born on January 22, 1941, in Lititz, PA, the daughter of Abram and Mary Miller.

She enjoyed art, classical music, Mata Ortiz pottery, reading, cooking, time with friends, and her beloved pets. She was a hard worker and tenacious to the last. She gave everything she had to her children, especially when they were growing up. She always made birthdays and holidays special and memorable. Lorraine had a 40+ year long career which she loved, as a hospital pharmacist and worked at this until she was over 70 years old.

She is survived by her daughter Candace Speakman of Tucson, AZ; son Kendall Shapiro of North Plains, OR; and son-in-law Roland Speakman of Tucson, AZ.

A celebration of life will be announced for family and friends at a later date.
