Laura was my first supervisor in the National Park Service. She was kind, fair, and even funny sometimes. She introduced me to the basics of this work and our mission, and did a good job at it. I will always remember the integrity and genuine care she brought to the work.

I knew Laura from my work at the campground where she resided. She was always so welcoming to campers and kind to me.  We often talked about her work with the park service.  She wrote me a letter of recommendation after I left the position at the camp. Rest in peace Laura, I wish you a good journey.
