Passed to be with his family in heaven on his 78th birthday from injuries sustained from a fall. Born in Buffalo, New York, He attended school in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster High School. He participated in extracurricular sports on the wrestling and golf teams. He was skilled and had a passion for golf and continued practicing while working as a caddy at the Lancaster Golf Club. He was well liked at his job and was frequently requested as a caddy for invitational special events.
He enjoyed reading as a pass time and going out dancing and the entertainment of casinos. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed frequent camping trips and both saltwater and freshwater fishing. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergent. He continued civil service in the Quality Inspection department for the Air Force until he retired from Davis Monthan Air Force Base. He is survived by his wife Debra Weaver Kruger, Daughter Melanie Kruger and Son Scott Kruger. He is also survived by three sisters, Virginia Taylor, Rosemarie Roland, and Beverly Bretek.
He was preceded in death by his Father Fredrick Otto Kruger, Mother Hilda Amelia Kruger, Sisters Evlene Guard and Cindy Retwegger, and brothers James (Red) Howard and Roger Kruger. He requested not to have a funeral and was cremated by the Neptune Society. He is loved by his family and missed by them all.
