

As the son of a military serviceman, Grover spent much of his childhood moving with his family before they settled in the Washington, D.C., area. He graduated from George Mason University and enjoyed a long career in the construction industry. An avid bowler, he also enjoyed competing in amateur bowling tournaments.
After visiting Colorado in the mid-1980s, Grover fell in love with the state and made it his home. There, he met his wife Anna, and together they built a life in Colorado. After retiring from the construction industry, Grover owned and operated a florist shop in Lakewood. In 2019, he and his wife retired to Green Valley, Arizona.
Grover found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved watching classic Westerns, had a special affection for small puppies, and was always fascinated by history, especially the history of the places where he lived and traveled.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and a niece.
He is survived by his beloved wife, his sister, his sister-in-law, several nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
Grover will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In accordance with Grover's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
