With sadness and joy, we announce the passing of a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Georgia Criss Ault. Georgia left this world on April 27, 2017. As we mourn the loss, we celebrate a life well lived. She was a devoted wife to Howard; a loving mother to Cassie, Kelly (Elizabeth), Jeffrey (Carie) and Jennifer (Eric); Gramme to Danielle (Jason), Christopher (Jenna), Ashley, Jacob and Austin; Great Gramme to Landen; sister to Stu Jr. and Gary. She was an amazing woman that lived her life for her family. She brought that loving spirit to life through her children. She loved to laugh, cheer on her kids, bowling, animals, flowers and University of Arizona Softball. She loved being outside, whether riding her quad or Jet Ski, nurturing her plants and yard or traveling with Howard. She was also a talented seamstress and quilter. She was born in Oak Lawn, IL on August 29, 1936 to Stuart and Henrietta Criss. She graduated from Amphi High School in 1954 and married Howard in 1958. A Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 3809 East Third Street, in Tucson. A gathering will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Alzheimer’s research at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson or to the Tucson Humane Society.
