I've known Gary since we were in our 20's & were crazy kids hanging out, dancing at Black Angus & Chances & riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycle. We lost touch when I moved to California but my memories of him always made me laugh. My heart is broken for his long time partner,  brother, sister & their families.  May he rest in peace.

I was shocked and heartbroken to hear about Gary. While we weren't close, Gary and Susan have been our neighbors for over a decade. There is something special about being someone's neighbor for so many years. While not within their close day to day lives, there is a level of comfort knowing they are always there; a level of reliance knowing that cup of sugar is always ready and waiting when needed. Gary and Susan were that for our family. Gary was always there for a friendly hello, to catch up. Always there if we needed something. There was a level of comfort knowing we had such great neighbors. One of my fondest memories of Gary was when we came home from going to Apple Annie's one fall and we brought Gary and Susan back an apple pie.  His face lit up and every time we went thereafter we would bring him a pie, or spend the season talking about their delicious pies. He was such a kind person. 
Loss is difficult. Grief is difficult. But it's difficult because it means we loved with all of our hearts. So while difficult, it's also a thing of beauty.  It's a reminder of how hard we loved. We will miss Gary and we wish Susan and their family the best in this time of healing.

I met Susan, and the pup Zoey at the dog park about 2 years ago. I never met Gary but in all of Susan's tales love shone through.  Gary, you will be sorely missed,  those 2 females loved you to bits.

I met Gary through Susan. She heard my prescription drugs were costing a lot of money. She said Gary and herself were going to Nogales. Gary picked me up a few weeks later and drove both ways. We had a fun trip filled with great conversations. What a great man he was.

I am shocked. Gary and I met in high school and ran around for a few years in Tucson until I left town. He and I enjoyed getting into all kinds of trouble (details will be left unsaid ) 😳.  He was my brother from another mother for a while. Such a wild and crazy guy. I’m so sorry I let 50 years go by without talking to him. My condolences to all who filled his life.

I am so sorry to hear that Gary has passed on from this life! I enjoyed visiting with him when I traveled to Tucson and sharing old high school, college and life stories! He was always so animated and entertaining!The last time I saw him at a small Pueblo reunion,he looked great.I am sending condolences to all who loved him! May he rest inpeace! God bless Mr. Brock!

Gary was  truly a kind and generous person. For years, we visited our friend Susan regularly and Gary always made sure we had space, treats and overall a good time with Susan. If necessary, he adjusted his work schedule in order to take care of the current resident poodle so we could take Susan on a getaway. 
Thank you Gary for the wonderful tarts and other treats.

A great friend and even better neighbor. I've lived across the street from Gary and Susan for 14 years. You really couldn't ask for better neighbors. Gary was never too busy to stop and catch up or hand out some dog treats for our dog (Leia misses you too). I enjoyed your company and the great conversations, you will be missed. Rest easy my friend.

I’m “gut punched!” Totally shocked!  Gary and I haven’t seen each other for a few years.  Our lives led us in different directions but there was a time when we were inseparable. We lived in the same neighborhood.  Either he was at my house or I was at his.  We met while playing high school basketball at Pueblo HS.  Following high school we lived together for about ten years.  Everyday was an adventure.  He was always so full of life.  His friendship will forever be treasured.  Gary Crane

I knew Gary through Susan.  Susan and I worked out at the Y together and through passing she would share things about her personal life.  Anyhow my mother in law was discharged from the hospital on oxygen and I took her home and was waiting for the home health people to arrive to set her up on her tanks.  The man introduced himself and went about his business as I sat there I thought didn't he say his name was Gary isn't that Susan's boyfriends name.  So I said to the man do you know a Tazzielou that was Susan's email address.  I think I stunned him so I went on to explain how I knew Susan.  He did tell Susan I freaked him out.  But what I know about Gary is that he was very hard working,  and you would be lucky to have him as an employee, he thought of others,  he loved his family and he loved Susan, the dogs, and trips to Bisbee. Gary and I met because of Susan. I remember the night the three of us met. Susan and I went to the Chicago bar where Gary was working as a bouncer. I can see him as if it was yesterday. He wore a black leather slicker and was such an impressive looking man. I thought Susan and Gary would get along  so l invited him to our table.  The rest is history, they have been together ever since.   Gary will be missed by many people but most of all by Susan.

Gary was a partner to my sister for 32 years. Though I only spent limited periods of time with him, these are things I know: he  had a happy disposition,  he was loving, loyal, generous and kind. Gary was always willing to help others and acted as a good citizen on this earth. 

My sister was lucky to have him as long as she did but I know she will have a long hard road back to some kind of normalcy. I  am so sorry for all she has gone through and will go through.

Gary was a good, decent man with a wonderful outlook on life. He was a people-person, and was liked and admired by everyone. He is sorely missed. Rest in peace Brother.
