Forrest Richard Smith Jr.

He was born in Elyria, Ohio on December 4, 1930 to Forrest and Dorothy Smith. He married Betty Jean Wagner on May 12, 1950 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Woody's life was family centered. He was always reminiscing with his boys of their time in Payson, AZ at the family cabin that he built. He and Betty enjoyed boating, camping and, after retiring, traveling the country in their RV. They had many wonderful adventures together.

Woody is survived by Betty, his wife of 67 years; sister, Rheyma Gruber, of Kalamazoo, MI; brother, David Smith of Ashland, OH; four sons, Larry (Lisa), Brad (Lucy), Randy (Eileen) of Tucson, AZ and Stu of Loudon, TN; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, Maryann.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
