Donald Bowring

Donald Howard Bowring, 83, died July 15,2023 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born November 20, 1939, in St. Joesph, Missouri, the son of Howard G. and Christine M. (Maget) Bowring.

Don attended Central High School. Following Central, he served in the U.S. Navy serving on the Hornet and Lexington. He returned to St. Joe and joined the Police Department where he met and married Helen Charlene Dean. They Celebrated 62 years of marriage last month. Don went on to have a variety of other professions, Heavy Equipment Operator, Truck Driver and retired as a Computer Programmer.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson James Bowring; sister Louell Gerow; brothers George, Kenneth and Billy Bowring. Surviving in addition to his wife, Charlene are his son Jeffery Bowring and Kara Larrucea of Redding, CA, his daughter Tracie Hedges and her husband Tim of West Hills, CA. Two grandsons Dean and TJ Hedges, Two great grandkids Macie and Andrew Bowring.

Memorial Service will be held on August 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Lunch following
