

Deborah “Debbie” Ann Woodruff passed away on October 31, 2025. Born on January 9, 1968, to William (deceased) and Cheryl Ellis in Westerly, Rhode Island, Debbie lived a life defined by compassion, devotion, and joy. Throughout her career, Debbie dedicated herself to supporting and enriching the lives of special needs children in both New York and Arizona schools. Her kindness and commitment touched countless young lives. After retiring, she embraced her most treasured role “Gigi” by providing loving care for her precious grandchildren.
Debbie lived life to the fullest, always with her family and friends at the center of her world. She loved crafting, traveling in the RV, and hosting gatherings that brought people together. She was a beautiful and loving wife, a devoted mother to her three children, and a phenomenal “Gigi” to her two cherished grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas “Tom”; her mother Cheryl and her three children eldest son Thomas “Tom” and his wife Desiree, along with their children Emery and William, her daughter Danielle and her husband Michael and her youngest son, Tyler. Who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A private ceremony will be held by close friends and family at their residence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health, supporting research for the heart condition that also affected Debbie:
